Finding Hope and Healing: A Resident’s Story

To my precious Advocates Recovery Services and staff:

Where does one begin to Thank you for saving my life?  Though l’m not in addiction, you took me in anyway, at a critical time where l could barely see the future.  It taught me love and patience to help and support those who were in the  grips of addiction.  My eyes now have sight!  I'm forever grateful for all the help l got along the way especially the counseling for the PTSD from the assault that left me homeless.

You listened and hugged and supported me through our time together and I just feel its a true blessing.

The program lead me to priceless friendships, who l now see as family.  They love and support one another in a way their own families could not?  Thank you for the gift l would not have seen: the vision to support those who are struggling.  I will use this gift as a foundation right there with God, who l think is responsible for our connecting!  I will always think of you all as family and treasure the relationships that developed along the way!  [Name Removed] Thank you for being my "Rock" through this!  Please keep reaching out to the lost and addicted they need you and you are an amazing place to land and recover.  You will make my heart sing forever.

Thank you all!
