Crucial partnerships with community partner agency’s ensure collaboration which results in meaningful lifelines to Snohomish County’s most vulnerable.
Led by a CCAR Certified Recovery Coach and 2022 Director of the Year, Tony Thompson, we remain committed to providing deliberate care which facilitates movement towards a sustainable, healthy, and independent life.
Our team provides deliberate care to those needing food, NARCAN, medical services, detox, housing referrals, and other life saving necessities.
Street Medicine
The program
ARS’ mission is to be near and care for the brokenhearted in Snohomish County. Our objective clinically is to:
(1) Stabilize unsheltered participants,
(2) Refer unsheltered participants to primary care; and
(3) Enroll unsheltered participants in ongoing primary care. This includes, at times, transporting to appointments and advocating for participants.
Services
ARS provides minor medical care and referral services to Recipient and Recipient’s participants. Some examples of minor medical care include:
Health checks and assessments
Wound care
Foot care
Blood pressure screening
Immunizations
NARCAN overdose training and kits
Basic needs like water, snacks, and hygiene kits
Referrals to housing and employment navigation
Referrals to detox programs and transportation
