New Assistant Housing Director!

ARS is pleased to announce the promotion of Ms. Katie Snyder to Assistant Housing Director. Ms. Snyder currently serves as the Murphy House Manager and Data Specialist here at ARS. She’s been with our organization for just over two years.

Ms. Snyder is a Certified Peer Counselor and is a CCAR Certified Recovery Coach. She completed Trauma-Informed Training in 2023, and as all our staff is required, completes the training again each year. She’s similarly trained in de-escalation and SMART Goal Setting.

Ms. Snyder is the Murphy House’s first and only House Manager. She’s created what we endearingly refer to as the Katie-Effect: where she goes, the recovery atmosphere and culture immediately and profoundly deepens. Under Ms. Snyder and Director Rachael Cuddy’s leadership, the Murphy House led ARS’ recovery homes in relapse rates – a stunning 11% in 2024. Discharges from Murphy to permanent housing were the highest among our residences, 71%.
